Rose Durandisse, Brooklyn,NY
Where are you currently living right now and how did you end up there?
New York City (Manhattan), Just took the train, you know MTA.
I have a family now, a 4 year old son and a partner. We figured living in the concrete jungle allows the little human to see a lot of the world in a small place.
How did you first start in digital marketing?
I was in my mid-20s working in retail and was ready for a change. I entered COOP, a Google sponsored program, that taught me the inner workings of digital marketing. From there I was able to get my foot in the door, and launch my digital marketing career.

What do you do at Binary & Co?
I am an account manager working with a range of clients to help create and grow their online presence.
What’s one thing you’re working on right now?
I am working with Silver Star Resort Association to help launch their summer campaign. It’s really fun stuff, because sometimes you forget that you can explore the mountains during the summer and create special memories with the people you love.
Day to Day
What does your daily routine look like?
I tend to wake up around 6am, to have a moment of silence and peace. Doing whatever brings joy at the moment, whether that is reading or scrolling through TikTok. Between 7-9, that’s when pandemonium erupts and my humans (child and adult) begin their day. After dropping the smaller human off to school, I begin work. Working from 10-3pm, working through accounts and taking meetings. Around 3.30pm Mom mode is activated, and I am probably going to a sports activity like Tae Kwan Do or Soccer. Around 7pm, partner mode is activated, as dinner is cooked and I watch dinner being cooked. After 8.30, when the gremlin, sorry child is asleep. The rest of night is spent watching some reality tv, to remind me drama is fun to watch but not to actually have.

What do you think is unique about working for Binary & Co?
The ability to work with clients from various industries and connect with a range of people from different backgrounds. Although remote, there is a sense of personal connection with the team and the clients.

What’s the one thing on your bucket list?
Living abroad for 6 months to a year with my family.
